I’ll bet you can think of someone among your friends and family that you would like to share the gospel with but are too scared to do it.  Believe me, I understand.  I’ve been there.  It took me a long time to get up enough courage to share the gospel with my mother (dad had died many years before).  I remember very nervously sharing the “Four Laws” booklet with her.  Her response was “Oh, I prayed a prayer like that a long time ago.”  I didn’t say it but thought to myself  “well why didn’t you ever tell me about it?”

If you are too scared to do it, let me suggest sending a little pocket testament in a plain brown envelope with a little note to that special person.  You’ll want to explain why you are doing this, how important it is and what it means to believe the gospel.  There are quite a few websites  “out there” that have these little testaments that have the plan of salvation contained within.  “Christianbook.com”  is just one place you can look.  They can be purchased for less the $2.  You can do this anonymously.  The envelope will cost you about $0.10.  The postage will cost about $2.80 to send to an address in the continental US.  So, for about five bucks, you can share the gospel.  Praise God.

Or, if you are too lazy, or too busy to do this, you can send me $5 and I will do it for you.  Just send $5 to: The Gideons, PO Box 651, Bloomington, IL 61702.  Enclose the name and address of the person you want this sent to and any kind of message you want me to include.  I will send a Gideon Testament (shown below) along with what I call a “ticket to heaven” and your message.  I won’t disclose your name; it will be a gift from the Gideons.
